Design

Our designers live the practice!

PJM's claim: Easy-to-implement designs with minimum weight, minimum costs and maximum safety.

The work of our designers makes a significant contribution to the efficient running of many projects. This enables us to continuously increase the satisfaction of our customers.

Our highlights:

Preparation of measurements
Detailed preparation is essential for the smooth running of our measurements and tests. Brackets, mounts or measuring equipment are designed in 3D and approved by means of installation tests and movement simulations in the 3D vehicle model. The sometimes necessary verification of strength is carried out directly in the CAD software by means of simulation and supported by our calculation engineers.

Thanks to the regular participation of our design engineers in test drives, they are particularly aware of the importance of precise preparation.

In-house developments
Our own products such as mobile track scales, automatic suspension devices or calibration test stands are implemented by our design engineers from the idea to the finished product. With their many years of practical experience, they take care of the design, 3D construction, simulation and production drawings. The components manufactured by our reliable metalworking partners are then assembled and tested by the designer himself to create the finished product.

We also carry out extensive design projects in collaboration with our partner MFL.

Design optimization
On the one hand, we carry out designs and prototype construction for our customers in line with our own developments.

On the other hand, many customers carry out the basic design themselves due to their more precise knowledge of the boundary conditions and restrictions. The subsequent weight or stiffness optimization is carried out particularly efficiently at PJM thanks to the close cooperation between our design and calculation specialists. The extensive manufacturing skills of our design engineers guarantee optimum feasibility in practice. The optimized 3D CAD is then handed back to the customer.
