Accelerometers
Acceleration sensors to achieve all the high requirements.
PJ M constructs acceleration sensors to achieve all the high requirements of our measurements. Our sensors resist extreme operating conditions within the measurements on rail vehicles, they offer high temperature stability and possess sufficient accuracy for the following analysis. The sensors do not indicate overmodulation by temporary observed high-frequency excitations and are particularly suitable for the use in running gear tests and in measuring the service strength.
Uniaxial acceleration sensor
In many fields of technology acceleration is an essential mechanical dimension. We provide acceleration sensors in variable measuring ranges.
- Static accelerations measurable (e.g. gravitation)
- Applicable under extreme operating conditions
- No overmodulation by temporarily observed high frequency excitations
- Excellent value-for-money

Multi-axis-accelerometer
The PJM 3D Sensor ist an advancement of the uniaxial accelerometers of the PJM LN series. The Multi-Axis Accelerometer provides an orthogonal reference with a common center of percussion for up to three accelerometers which can be fitted with sensor elements of different measurement ranges. This makes the sensor particularly usefull for standard measurement spots (e.g. axle box). Its space saving design enables easy and versatile placement and reduces the time for mounting considerably.
- Static accelerations measurable (e.g. gravitation)
- Applicable under extreme operating conditions
- No overmodulation by temporarily observed high frequency excitations
- Excellent for the application at running gear and fatique strength tests
- Direct measurement of free lateral acceleration
